Happy New Year!!! I
hope 2013 brings you much joy, success and above all happiness. I’m sure many
of you are nursing sore heads today, fingers crossed you weren’t one of the
unlucky ones who had to get up and go to work today, I felt very sorry for the
check out chicks at the supermarket this morning. However you celebrated I hope
you had and enjoyable one.
I couldn’t think of a better way to kick
off the New Year than with a couple of liquid deserts. So I bring you a Pina
colada (it just screams holidays) and a raspberry and lime delight (well the
Italians do say red is a lucky colour to wear I’m hoping its lucky to drink) They’re
both two pretty easy and straight forward Cocktails.
Pina Colada
1 part Bacardi
1 Part Malibu
3Parts pineapple juice
1 part cream
a handful of ice
Place all ingredients
into a cocktail shacker and shake. Pour into a glass and serve.
Raspberry and Lime
delight
1 cup of frozen raspberries
1 cup bacardi
1 cup raspberry vodka
1 cup pineapple juice
¼ sugar syrup
1 small lime
Place all the
ingredients into a blender and blend until combined, pour into a glass and
serve.
NOTE:If you want to be a little bit swish rub the lime around the top of the
glass and dip into some white sugar before you pour the cocktail in.
